†Some people might believe that " 2+4 x 5" should = 22. hmmm . In math class maybe, but in the real world, it equals 30. Let me explain. If 2 + 2 = 4 then 2+2+2 = 6 so then 2+2+2x5=30 .The calculator is getting the answer just as you type it ( 2+2=4+2=6x5=30) why should it equal 14 ? It should if be 14 if you wanted to add 2 equations together. like 2+2=4 then 2x5=10 then add the 2 together 4+10=14. But who does that?
